Crank Brothers Cobalt 3 Lefty 29" MTB Wheelset
The Cobalt 3 from Crank Brothers are lefty specific elite-level aluminium wheels for XC trail riders. They feature a unique wheel design that is based around principles of strength, stiffness and acceleration. The unique wheel design distributes mass closer to the hub for faster acceleration and deceleration.
The wheels are tubeless ready out of the box, as they feature no holes on the inner rim bed. They are incredibly strong thanks to their Twinpair spoke technology – designed using the strongest shape in construction, the triangle, to maximise strength and stiffness.

These XC-ready 29-inch wonders boast tubeless-compatible aluminum rims that keep the weight down to 1,735 grams for the set and they boast machined aluminum hubs with sealed bearings that feel like they'll spin forever. The spokes connect at a vertical rib on the rim, thus eliminating the need for spoke holes to enhance durability. Plus, the extended aluminum nipples simplify the truing process and optimize wheel stiffness.
